South Coast Karting’s contemporary circuit and hospitality hub opened in 2017 to support business growth. Having acquired a plot of land our architectural services were engaged from concept to completion.​

 

Chapman Partnership designed a scheme that utilised the clients existing infrastructure, relocating and rejuvenating it at the new site. A spacious courtyard area facilitated spectator and competitor interaction whilst enhancing the security of the units used to maintain and store the karts. Our expertise made informed decisions on the circuit design which resulted in a safe, but exhilarating track that could be developed in the future to meet national level karting standards.

 

The site was located in a designated greenbelt area an agile approach was taken to navigate the necessary planning requirements.
